Gartner Sues Ex-Director and Info-Tech Over Noncompete (1)

Gartner Inc. sued a former government research director and Info-Tech Research Group Inc. for allegedly violating her noncompete and nonsolicitation agreements and misappropriating trade secrets.

Alia Mendonsa joined Info-Tech less than three weeks after departing Gartner in April for purported personal and health-related issues, according to the complaint filed in the US District Court for the District of Connecticut. The move was allegedly part of Info-Tech’s unlawful scheme to hire Gartner employees and use its highly confidential information to compete.
