The caddie manager at Long Island’s Garden City Golf Club subjected a black caddie to race discrimination, including taking a staged, lewd photo of him while he was napping on club grounds, the caddie alleges in a federal lawsuit.
The photo showed either the caddie manager’s erect penis or an object resembling an erect penis within inches of Robert Lee Wiggins’ sleeping face and was posted on Facebook by one of Wiggins’ fellow caddies, who took the picture, the July 18 lawsuit asserts.
