Frontier Airlines discriminates against female pilots and flight attendants by not accommodating them when they are pregnant or breastfeeding, according to two federal lawsuits filed in Colorado that seek to change the airline’s policies.
Four female flight attendants seek to represent about 200 similar workers in a class action, while four female pilots bring separate litigation against the company.
Both cases—initiated Dec. 10 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado— allege violations of Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act and Colorado law.
