A former Franciscan Alliance Inc. nurse agreed to drop her suit alleging the health care company discriminated and retaliated against her when she sought federally protected leave for her pregnancy, according to a federal court filing.
Taryn Duis sued the health care company in 2020 alleging she was subjected to discriminatory comments from her manager after disclosing that she was pregnant and planned to take leave under the Family Medical Leave Act.
