A federal appeals court in Richmond rejected a request filed by 19 states and Washington, D.C., to pause its order allowing the Trump administration to resume firing thousands of probationary employees.
The US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit on Thursday denied an administrative stay of its April 9 ruling that paused a district judge’s order directing federal agencies to rehire fired workers who live and work in the states that sued.
The decision is yet another win for President
The case is Maryland v. USDA, 4th Cir., No. 25-1248, 4/10/25.
