The publisher of Fortune magazine illegally sidestepped a union with its handling of a survey on Covid-19 vaccination status and return to work, a National Labor Relations Board judge ruled.
Fortune Media Group also violated federal labor law by unilaterally adopting a performance evaluation program and changing work conditions via a new handbook, Administrative Law Judge Benjamin Green said in his Monday ruling. In addition, the company illegally ordered workers not to discuss wage increases, he held.
