Former Meetup Executive Agrees to End Sex Bias, Retaliation Suit

Meetup LLC and one of its former vice presidents agreed to end her workplace bias lawsuit, according to a federal court filing.

Prerna Singh, Meetup’s former vice president of product, alleged she was abruptly replaced and fired from the social media company while on job-protected maternity leave. The firing allegedly followed a pattern of bias in favor of male executives exhibited by CEO David Siegel, who was also named as a defendant.
