Former McDonald’s Worker Alleges Sex Harassment, Demands $5M (1)

A former McDonald’s worker is seeking $5 million in a class action filed against a single store in Michigan, alleging multiple incidents of sexual harassment.

The class action was filed Nov. 12 in Ingham County against McDonald’s USA, McDonald’s Corp. and franchisee MLMLM Corp. Former worker Jenna Ries, as the lead plaintiff, filed on behalf of other employees who worked at the Mason, Mich., restaurant in the last three years, according to the statement. Most McDonald’s stores are owned by franchisees, not McDonald’s Corp. MLMLM operates 11 McDonald’s franchises around Lansing, Mich., the suit says.
