Former Lucid Attorney Files Reprisal Suit Over Transgender Views

Lucid Software Inc faces a lawsuit from its former attorney for allegedly firing and retaliating against him for being an “openly gay conservative Christian who opposes the promotion of transgender ideology for children,” a complaint filed Thursday said.

Goud Maragani filed suit in the US District Court for the District of Utah claiming retaliation, discrimination of his sexual orientation and religious views. Maragani worked in the software company’s office of general counsel for more than three years until he was terminated in October 2023.
