A former employee of Lehigh Hospital who said she never signed an arbitration agreement may have to arbitrate her claims anyway, a federal court in Florida decided.
Rabel Bajwa sued the hospital for discrimination, and the hospital invoked an arbitration clause which Bajwa’s attorney agreed to. After the parties failed to reach a settlement, a conflict of interest led Bajwa’s attorney to withdraw.
