Former Goldman Sachs Adviser Drops ‘Predator’ Defamation Suit

A former Goldman Sachs & Co. wealth adviser agreed to dismiss his defamation lawsuit claiming someone at the company spread rumors he was a sexual predator, months after he was compelled to arbitrate his claims.

David Monk alleged in his complaint, filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, that he was fired from his new position at BSE Global because of rumors that he’d been inappropriate with female Goldman employees. According to court documents, Monk worked at Goldman from 2007 to 2019, before he became BSE’s senior vice president of development in 2022. ...
