Former Federal Labor Board Member Ends Challenge to Her Removal

A Washington DC district court judge dismissed a lawsuit against President Donald Trump over the firing of the former chair of the Federal Labor Relations Authority.

Judge Sparkle L. Sooknanan closed the case Wednesday after former FLRA Chair Susan Grundmann, a Democratic appointee, ended her suit.

Grundmann was one of several independent agency leaders to be fired by Trump in his first weeks in office and subsequently sought relief from the courts. Trump fired members of the National Labor Relations Board, Merit Systems Protection Board, and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
