Chewy Inc. will no longer face a Black former employee’s claims that the pet products company discriminated against him by failing to promote him while advancing less qualified, non-Black employees.
Chewy and Sedley Daley, a former Chewy IT worker, filed a joint stipulation of dismissal with prejudice on Wednesday to Judge Rodney Smith of the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida. The stipulation noted that each party will bear its own attorneys’ fees and costs.
