Federck C. Petro, the former president of Local 2094 of the American Federation of Government Employees, has been sentenced to six months of home confinement and three years of probation, according to a Nov. 4 sentencing document issued by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York (United States v. Petro).
According to the court, Petro also has been ordered to pay restitution of $112,477, the amount that he was found to have stolen from the local, through monthly payments of 10 percent of his income.
