Foreign Worker Visa Interviews Limited to Home Countries (1)

International workers and others on temporary nonimmigrant visas will be restricted to interviews at consular offices in their country of nationality or residency, the State Department announced Saturday.

The move comes amid a slew of new hurdles the Trump administration has set up for travel to the US. The State Department issued the new policy days after eligibility for interview waivers was eliminated for most visa categories.
