Fordham University Faculty Join Forces With Union

Roughly 900 faculty members at Fordham University in New York joined the ranks of SEIU Local 200United Nov. 14, bringing an end to more than a year of organizing, a union spokeswoman told Bloomberg Law.

The new bargaining unit includes adjunct professors, full-time lecturers, and postdoctoral students. Job security and higher wages are among the top priorities for members, the Service Employees International Union spokeswoman said.
