Ford Vanquishes Muslim Engineer’s Race, Religious Bias Claims

Ford Motor Co. defeated claims that it discriminated and retaliated against a Muslim engineer of Middle Eastern origin, as a federal judge ruled the worker failed to plausibly allege wrongdoing.

The ex-engineer didn’t plausibly allege that the automaker fired him because of his race, national origin, or religion or that his termination was the culmination of a campaign of retaliatory acts following his internal bias report, the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan said Tuesday, dismissing the suit with prejudice.
