Foley Hoag Mostly Fails to Pare Back Ex-IT Worker’s Bias Claims

Foley Hoag LLP defeated some, but not all, of the claims it sought to knock out in a lawsuit filed against it by a former tech support worker claiming he was the victim of discrimination.

The worker’s eight national origin disparate treatment and disability discrimination claims can all move forward, the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said. He abandoned his disability interference and constructive discharge claims and didn’t provide enough detail for his accommodation claim, the court’s Wednesday ruling said.
