Enterprise Leasing Company of Florida faces an age discrimination lawsuit after allegedly failing to hire older workers, according to the EEOC Monday.
The company, which operates Alamo, Enterprise, and National car rental locations, allegedly intentionally under-hired older candidates for management trainee positions in favor of college-aged applicants, leading to less than 2% of management trainees being age 40 or older in October 2020.
Such alleged conduct is in violation of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, according to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
