Floor and Decor Pays $350,000 to Settle Collective Wage Action

Floor and Decor has agreed to pay $350,000 to resolve a nationwide Fair Labor Standards Act collective action brought by workers who say they were cheated out of overtime pay, according to a deal that received approval on Thursday.

Germma Hammond, who worked as an hourly sales associate at a Floor and Decor Outlets of America Inc. store in Antioch, Tenn., sued the company alleging FLSA violations in December 2019. In November 2020, a federal judge in Tennessee ruled that Hammond and other hourly retail employees could proceed as a nationwide FLSA collective.
