Flashdancer Inc. must pay nearly $47,000 in damages to its nightclub employee who was shot in the index finger of his right hand, when another employee discharged a firearm, a Texas appeals court ruled.
The company’s adult entertainment venue employed John Fulcher III to work as a bouncer. The venue requires that all persons including employees be searched for firearms and contraband.
