The Trump administration must continue to abide by a federal judge’s order to keep several small agencies staffed during the government’s appeal of that order, a federal appeals panel ruled.
The US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit on Thursday denied the administration’s motion to stay a May preliminary injunction that required it to rescind layoffs at the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, and the Minority Business Development Agency.
