Fired Worker’s FMLA Appeal at 11th Cir. Rides on Paperwork Delay

A corporate office assistant’s claim that she was fired after taking medical leave for anxiety met questions from a panel of federal appellate judges, who weighed whether delays in getting certification from her doctors doomed her case under the Family and Medical Leave Act.
