A former clinical research company employee may proceed with claims her employer fired her for reporting alleged research misconduct to the Food and Drug Administration, a federal court in Connecticut said.
Meredith Bacewicz stated a claim for retaliation under the False Claims Act and Connecticut law when she alleged Molecular Neuroimaging LLC terminated her for investigating and reporting conduct that could have led to the filing of an FCA claim, the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut said Sept. 23.
