A Black female former television news anchor who was fired after she finished breast cancer treatment timely filed claims alleging race and gender bias, disability-based harassment, and a hostile work environment, a federal court in Indiana said.
Andrea Morehead Allen also raised viable Equal Pay Act claims, adequately pleading that she was paid less than comparable White male employees, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana said Tuesday.
