Fieger & Fieger PC and an attorney it fired after she requested unpaid leave at the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic to care for her child asked the court to dismiss her wrongful discharge lawsuit.
The US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan dismissed the case Thursday, shortly after the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit revived the suit on Jan. 25. Polina Milman’s counsel declined to comment, and Fieger & Fieger didn’t immediately respond to Bloomberg Law’s request for comment, so it is unclear if the parties settled.
