Five female deputy district attorneys who allege that Contra Costa County and its DA’s office “has a long and pervasive culture of systemic gender discrimination” saw their case greenlighted after a federal court in San Francisco found they adequately detailed their sex bias claims under federal and California law.
Four of the women can also pursue age discrimination claims under federal and state law, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California said.
