Female Officer Settles Sex Harassment Suit Against Former Bosses

A female officer has settled her claims that she faced sexual harassment, discrimination, and retaliation while working for a small police force in central California, including that she endured repeated and unwelcome sexual advances.

At a Wednesday settlement conference, plaintiff Amber Moreno, the city of Porterville, and the individual defendants reached an agreement, according to an order filed the same day by Magistrate Judge Stanley A. Boone of the US District Court for the Eastern District of California.
