Federal Sector Labor Panel to Be Led by Democrat DuBester (1)

Ernest DuBester, who issued dissenting opinions on a regular basis as the sole Democrat on the Federal Labor Relations Authority during the Trump administration, has been designated by President Joe Biden as chairman of the three-member panel.

DuBester has been an FLRA member since August 2009. He was appointed by former President Barack Obama and renominated by former President Donald Trump. He was the agency’s chairman from January to November 2013, and briefly for a second time in January 2017.
