The US Department of Labor has resurrected an Obama-era effort to get employers in industries it deems potentially more dangerous to workers to submit certain injury and illness data to the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
“It’s an example, we think, of good government in action,” OSHA Deputy Secretary Doug Parker said during a Monday briefing on the rule.
