Fed Worker Appeals Picks to Get Vote as Case Backlog Grows (1)

President Donald Trump’s picks for the panel that hears federal employee appeals of adverse personnel actions will get a new vote in the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on Feb. 13, the first step toward confirmation by the full Senate.

If they get through the committee this time and ultimately are confirmed, they will face a backlog of at least 1,972 cases, up slightly from 1,946 at the end of 2018.
