FBI Turns Over Data on Agents in Jan. 6 Probe to Trump’s DOJ

FBI leaders have sent to the Justice Department information about agents and other employees who worked on cases related to the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack, according to a person familiar with the action.

The bureau didn’t share the names of the FBI personnel, according to the person, who asked for anonymity to discuss information not yet public. However, unique employee identification numbers, titles, where people worked and the type of work that they did and when they did it were sent, the person said.

It couldn’t be determined how many employees the information included.
