Employers anticipating that fast-track options for obtaining high-skill guestworker visas would be available in September will now have to wait until February 2019 for the option.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announced Aug. 28 it will add five additional months to its temporary suspension of premium processing for H-1B visas that are subject to annual limits. Premium processing allows employers to pay an extra fee for their petitions to be processed within 15 days.
