A Famous Dave’s restaurant franchise in Michigan has settled claims from a Black former worker who said she was fired after complaining the company created a hostile environment by allowing racist mockery to flourish.
A settlement was reached after a conference was held before Judge Susan K. DeClercq of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, according to a Tuesday case docket entry. No details of the settlement were provided.
