Facebook Will Pay $1.65 Million to End Class Overtime Pay Suit

Facebook Inc. and a group of 63 client solutions managers who say they were wrongly classified as ineligible for overtime pay have agreed to settle the workers’ lawsuit for $1.65 million, Illinois federal court records show.

Susie Bigger, who filed the suit in October 2017 under the Fair Labor Standards Act and a similar Illinois law, and the social media giant asked the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois to approve the proposed pact.
