EY Principal in His 50s Accuses Firm of Firing Him Based on Age

The former national leader of Ernst & Young LLP‘s domestic actuarial support function says in a new lawsuit that he was driven out because he was over 50.

Kevin Hacker says the “clear pattern” of age discrimination that ended in his May 2017 termination started in 2015, when he was 52 years old. Supervisor Adam Berk began to deny him chances for advancement and instead steered those opportunities to younger employees, Hacker claims.
