ExxonMobil, Lesbian Employee Resolve Her Sex Harassment Lawsuit

ExxonMobil Corp. and a lesbian process technician agreed to end her lawsuit alleging she was subjected to a hostile environment based on her sex and sexual orientation while working at a Joliet, Ill., refinery, federal court records show.

Amy Phillips and the company filed a stipulation of dismissal in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois Monday. Phillips’ October 2019 lawsuit “shall be dismissed with prejudice and without attorneys’ fees or costs to any party,” the filing said.
