Ex-Sodexo VP Knocks Out Bulk of Noncompete, Confidentiality Suit

A former Sodexo executive convinced a federal court to dismiss most of her ex-employer’s claims that she breached noncompete and confidentiality provisions in her employment contract when she quit to work for a Compass Group affiliate.

But Melissa Jordan will go to trial on whether she improperly divulged confidential information by identifying Sodexo’s “must win” and “in trouble accounts,” in an email recommending her new employer hire a former colleague, Judge Denise J. Casper of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts said Tuesday.
