Former Morgan Lewis & Bockius partner Jonathan Snare is the chairman for the independent agency that hears appeals to OSHA citations.
Snare, who worked in the firm’s Washington, DC office for 15 years, was acting solicitor and deputy solicitor of labor until he joined the commission. He previously served in several other roles at the Department of Labor including acting assistant secretary for OSHA.
The US Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission still needs one more member to form a quorum, a problem that’s left at least 30 cases languishing.
