Ex-Luminant Train Operator Reaches Settlement in Disability Suit

A former train operator for Luminant Mining Co. negotiated a deal to end his suit alleging the energy company unlawfully prevented him from working because of his disability.

Ronald Weaver and the company Wednesday told the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas they had resolved the issues and disputes in this case. Terms of the settlement weren’t made available, and counsel for the parties didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
