Ex-EEOC Officials Back Law Firms in Trump Executive Order Appeal

President Donald Trump’s executive orders directing the EEOC to investigate big law firms for race-based programs and policies violate the commission’s procedures, a group of former officials from the civil rights agency said in an amicus brief.

The ex-Equal Employment Opportunity Commission leaders are supporting Perkins Coie, Jenner & Block, WilmerHale, and Susman Godfrey in DC appeals court as they seek to uphold lower court rulings that struck down the White House’s directives against them.
