Ex-Disney Workers Fail to Revive Bias Suits Over Covid-19 Rules

Employees of various Walt Disney Co. entities, who were fired for not complying with company rules to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, failed Wednesday to reverse dismissal of their religious discrimination lawsuits.

A federal district court in Florida properly dismissed the workers’ claims, because they never alleged they requested a religious accommodation from the guidelines, the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit said in a per curiam opinion.
