Ernst & Young Accused of Race, Pregnancy Bias

A former senior tax manager who was fired by Ernst & Young LLP 18 days after the approval of her Family and Medical Leave Act leave request accused the accounting firm of discrimination and retaliation.

EY is also facing a lawsuit filed in April by a former male employee who says he was fired six days after requesting additional paternity leave under the FMLA. EY June 26 was granted a three-week extension to answer that complaint.
