Supporters of the Equal Rights Amendment lost another round in their legal battle to add it to the Constitution, as a federal appeals court dismissed their lawsuit for lack of legal standing.

Advocacy groups Equal Means Equal and The Yellow Roses, plus Massachusetts plaintiff Katherine Weitbrecht, are seeking a court order recognizing the ERA as the 28th Amendment and ordering U.S. Archivist David Ferriero to publish it.
