Equal Employment, Labor Board Nominees Advanced by Committee (2)

Five nominees for seats on the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the National Labor Relations Board were advanced by a Senate committee, setting them up for a vote by the full chamber.

The Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee on Wednesday signed off on two NLRB nominees—former Democratic member Lauren McFerran and current Republican member Marvin Kaplan—along with three EEOC picks: Democratic nominee Jocelyn Samuels and Republican nominees Andrea Lucas and Keith Sonderling.
