Envoy, Flight Attendants Agree on Contract Changes

Envoy Air Inc. and the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA have reached a tentative agreement on modifications to a concessionary 2012 contract covering 1,200 employees, the union announced Jan. 15.

Details were withheld pending submission of the proposed changes to AFA members for ratification. “The mid-term improvements raise the bar for pay and per diem for flight attendants in the regional industry,” Robert Barrow, president of AFA’s group at Envoy Air, said in a statement. The regional carrier, formerly called American Eagle, is a subsidiary of Fort Worth, Texas-based AMR Corp., which underwent Chapter 11 bankruptcy restructuring in 2011 and 2012 ...
