Energy Transfer Partners Resolves Ex-Worker’s Antisemitism Suit

Energy Transfer Partners LP resolved a religious and sex discrimination lawsuit brought by a former warehouse employee who said he was berated for converting to Judaism and called an anti-gay slur.

Energy Transfer and Ryan William Lockhart reached a resolution after a July 7 pre-trial settlement conference at the US District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, according to a minute entry entered Monday. A jury trial was scheduled to begin Aug. 21.

Details of any potential settlement weren’t provided, and neither party immediately responded to Bloomberg Law’s requests for comment.
