About 100,000 Hondurans and Nepalis who were left out of prior lawsuits over the Trump administration’s decision to end temporary immigration protections will now have their day in court.
The decision to end temporary protected status for Honduras and Nepal is unconstitutional and motivated by racism, a lawsuit filed Feb. 10 in federal district court in California says. A judge in the same court already has blocked the administration from ending TPS for some 300,000 natives of El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Sudan.
