Empower AI Advances Breach of Contract Suit Against Former CEO

Empower AI Inc. can proceed with claims that its former chief executive breached his separation agreement, after a federal judge said the company plausibly alleged the defendant used confidential information to try to poach an Empower employee.

The company prevailed against against former CEO Paul A. Dillahay’s motion to dismiss Monday, with the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia saying the allegations are sufficient to move ahead.
