Employers Must Submit 2017 and 2018 Pay Data, EEOC Says (2)

Employers must turn over 2017 and 2018 pay data by Sept. 30, according to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Judge Tanya S. Chutkan of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia gave the agency the option of gathering either 2017 or 2019 data, along with the required collection of 2018 pay data.

More than 60,000 employers must report the data, which proponents say will help narrow systemic pay gaps based on race, sex, and ethnicity.
